    New Jobs for Existing Classes (My wish list)

    Archer > Ranger (pure ranged DD)

    Conjurer > Sage (DD, with access to spells like Banish/Banish 2/Dia etc)
    Conjurer Alternative > Green Mage (Support/DD, could use the spell Leap to help people in battles like Titan)

    Thaumaturge > Time Mage (Ranged DD/Support, similar to BRD)

    Warrior > Berserker (Dual Wield axes, DD/Off Tank)

    Pugilist > Geomancer (The groundwork is oddly already present, they can invoke 2 primary elements as toggles. DD/Support)
    Pugilist Alternative > Beast Master (Creates spiritual bonds with beasts, DD/Off Tank)

    Gladiator > Dark Knight (Just give a greatsword or hand/half sword, take away shield. DD/Off Tank)

    Lancer > Temple Knight (Tank/DD)
    Lancer Alternative > Dark Knight (Uses a Glaive weapon, a like a double sword, or just a greatsword, Suppression Tank/DD, the DRK on FF2 used a spear)

    I've only really thought out one, but here's my wish list;

    Marauder => Dark Knight;

    Thaumaturge Sub, with access to Fire/Blizzard, as well as Lancer sub.

    JA1: Stance, increases damage taken by X%, converts enmity into magic potency (more enmity, higher nukes damage). (Name: Dark Covenant?)
    JA2: Spell, restores HP proportional to damage. (Name: Drain, obviously)
    JA3: Ability, sacrifice HP to sharply increase magic potency. (Name: Last Resort, Souleater?)
    JA4: Ability, weapon skill which restores MP proportional to damage, comes off the Heavy Swing > Maim combo. (Name: Storm's Fury?)
    JA5: Spell, powerful dark elemental damage, on par with things like Flare and Holy. (Name: Dark Flare?)

    Still uses Great Axes, with the designs being similar to a Headsman Axe to give it that dark feeling. Basically, you build enmity with Marauders enmity combo, and convert that into being able to do powerful magic damage on a melee Job, making it a high risk Job to play.

    Pugilist => Dancer. Counter/Evasion Tank, with self healing capabilities. The Forms effectively become dance related, rather than martial stances. Dance abilities would change effect depending on the Form you're currently in, making combos slower paced than Monk.

    Lancer => Templar. Melee Support, somewhat similar to how Bard is.

    Conjurer => Geomancer. Just change the Cure spells into Water, make its Relic a Wand/Shield combo, and it's ultimate spell should be Quake to match Black Mages Flare.

    Archer => Ranger. No brainer.

    Gladiator => Runic Knight. Counter Tank. Runic allows the Job to absorb an incoming attack and turn it against your enemy, pop Runic before a bomb explodes and you can skip dodging and throw some damage back at the bomb.

    Thaumaturge => Necromancer. Healer/Support. A Raise spell with a twist, it's temporary. Rather than healing allies, it instead takes HP from one party member, and gives it to another. Relic would be a Scepter/Shield combo, seeing as Scepters seem to relate more to the undead (see: Haukke Manor bosses weapons).

    Some don't really work well with the Class abilities, but nor does Bard really, so whatever. All would still use their existing weapon types, because I don't really see them changing that to be honest.

    Oh, and since we know they're coming;

    Musketeer => Corsair (DPS), Orator (Support). Corsair, Duh. Orator from Tactics, just fits with Guns, if not that Chemist.
    Dagger Class => Thief (Support), Ninja (DPS). Thief has always been Support, Stealing to get your party better gear, or potions to heal with. Hard concept to work into a MMO Job, but doable. Ninja is not a Tank. It has never been a Tank. It will never be a Tank.

    Bonus round; New Ishgard Classes!

    Fencer => Red Mage.
    Tamer => Beastmaster.
    Astronomer => Time Mage.

    Fencer and Astronomer seem likely to me, given what we've seen so far. Ishgard has Knights, and they use Astronomy to help fight the Dragons, I forget exactly how, but it was very time related. Tamer is just something left over from 1.0 that was related to Ishgard.

    I actually want this to happen:

    Shaman (new Class) - A mystic who has spent time amongst the beast tribes of Eorzea, and has gained an understanding of primal magic. (Possible weapons: Scimitar, Whip, Kamas, Maces, something that gives kind of a wayfaring dervish theme)

    Branches into Blue Mage and Beast Master (instead of my PGL idea), but I doubt this will ever happen.

    The reason I want this is because the 2 can mesh. I'm thinking a mixture of Strago Magus from FFVI and Gau also from FFVI, with a throw in of a pet as BST.

    It would also explain why the user is able to overpower a large amount of beasts out in Eorzea as a BST, using esoteric primal magic.

    "Primal Magic" would be a precursor to Blue Magic, and the users of the Class would need to learn the abilities/spells through gameplay from 1-30, and partially from their soulstones thereafter.

    I could see these guys coming from the Sagoli Desert area, maybe some Miqo'tes start it out and give it to the city states, have the job quests however reside in the Forgotten Springs

    I hope they release ranger and fix bard. We need actual support classes in the game. It would open the door to a lot of classes without pigeon-holing them into being a DD/Tank/Healer even though they don't particularly fit a single role.

    To explain my label for Roles:

    DD / Off Tank - 2nd tank alternative for groups that need higher DD and a tank to grab/distract lesser adds, not meant as a replacement to 1 of 2 tanks but some groups could swing it either way. Has access to Damage Limit Break

    Tank / DD - Similar to Warrior as it is now.

    Suppression Tank / DD - A new main tank type to FFXIV, one that debuffs an enemy heavily rather than has natural mitigation abilities and deals an unusual amount of damage/has access to Damage Limit Break
