Longest queue wait for Guildhest ever...

I'm only posting this for the lulz, I was doing other things while in the queue and even forgot that I was in it for a while.

But I'm leveling my MNK and around level 46 I entered the Trinity 8 person Guildhest to get the xp bonus. While running around doing the sightseeing I later realized that I had been sitting in this queue for 158 minutes O.O

Eventually I left the queue but dang, anyone been in queue that long for anything?

I have never been in queue that long but it really does not surprise me for that Guildhest. I don't know a single person (even those leveling) that would ever bother attempting that one anymore. It's almost a guaranteed waste of time because most groups fail anymore due to incompetency.

Seriously? I've done it multiple times (for different classes) and never had a problem.

Que does take awefully long at times though, I'll admit that.

It took me several tries as well to get through there. The tanks really decide whether you succeed or fail that one. An inexperienced tank plus that impatient guy who always has to go dashing in the moment an instance starts usually equates to a fail and a free trip back to the queue.

As an educational experience, it's very poorly designed. One fail and you're out, rather than giving the team a chance to regroup and adjust like you would have in pretty much every other piece of content. Guildhests function a bit differently than dungeons though, so it's probably a technical limitation.

I feel like most Guildhest take forever. I'm trying to power through them for my story quests right now. T_T

The longest I have ever had to wait on Excalibur for a queue was as BRD. I think I was in the queue for 90 minutes.

I did see a screen shot of someone on another server who had been in the DF queue for 512 minutes. O.o

There are a few reasons mainly the system needs 2 high level tanks and heals at the same time. Yet the system also wants to fill smaller low level queues .. If a tank waits more then 2 min they can requeue and the system will assign them a lowere party that is ready to go. Meeting the 40+ requirement is the problem needing those tanks and heals.
