Lvl 50 Arcanist is it wrong?

But as i said before thanks for all the input i want to play and enjoy the game not get drilled by jerks. That can take the time to get mad and rage quit instead of helping a player in need. I will still play as an Arcanist like i said i like the debuffs but i will do so solo. I will do high lvl dungeons as Summoner.

Yeah i didn't want to be a Summoner but to keep everyone happy i will pick it up.

SE failed at creating class variety through the use of cross class skills.
Advanced classes like WHM, MNK, WAR,... get buffed main stats compared to the base classes, and out of the cross class skills you can use, only a few of them make sense.

So basically everyone ends up playing the same class with the same skills.
While this makes creating content alot easier, it kills one of the aspects which made the class system of FF so unique.

Can someone explain what debuffs they're even mentioning? All I can figure is blood for blood and internal release which are buffs. I'm currently leveling up my arcanist (mostly in dungeons as a scholar for fast queues) and I can't imagine using anything but summoner when I want to dps. For one fester melts faces, and the extra int just adds more and more damage. Not using a soul crystal just seems very counter productive.

That really doesn't answer my question. I guess you are talking about aero which is a 50 potency initial tick then a 25 potency dot. Fester adds 190 potency total if I understand the math right to your dots. That means aero is losing you 165 potency, and that doesn't even take into account the damage loss from less stats.

Not trying to give you a hard time, I just don't understand at all what you think could ever make arcanist better under any circumstances, especially with your repeated mentioning of debuffs which I can't find a single one that you could use as an arcanist.

summoner = arcanist + summoner skills
only thing you loose is ability to pickup 6? more cross class skills and the pallet of them as you are limited to only 2 classes you can choose from

It alright i asked for advice so hey & Aero is not an Arcanist ability Bio 1 & 2 / Energy Drain / Miasma while many think it useless there are enemy mage's that heal themselves so Miasma can come in handy / Virus & Super Virus Reduces target's STR and DEX by 15%. Supervirus: INT, and MND damage added. / Bane which spreads a target's Bio, Bio II, or Miasma to all nearby enemies can help weaken enemies which makes them easier to pick off. I like the Arcanist class sorry but i do however i will pick up Summoner.

Umm you don't lose arcanist abilities by picking up summer, you keep your base class abilites, the only thing you lose is some cross class skills getting one every 10 levels instead of every 5.

You also don't get to cross class conjurer skills like aero, blood for blood, etc. But what you get from summoner well makes up for that.

And are you saying as a Summoner i can still use Bio 1 & 2 / Energy Drain / Miasma / Virus & Super Virus. If so that good to know which is really all I'm asking i don't know everything about this game. Any help on playing my class better is always welcome.
