    Curtana/Holy Shield Novus Question

    So while it's not really important to do, I'm continuing my relic quest line for fun, but I had a question on alex received from fates. When doing the atma portion the holyshield was not required to be equipped. I have the high allagan kite and it's annoying when im job flipping for queues and forget to reequip the holy shield. So my question is to farm alex in fates is the curtana animus sword ample enough to spark a drop or are both sword and shield required. Thanks in advance.

    Should only need 1 or the other I would imagine. Just like with the Atma.

    main hand weapon affect drop rates. so yes, you have to have the sword equipped
