Life of a DPS, nothing to see here

Thats not really dps exclusive (also, it's DD not dps for gods sake^^).

My Q times on Moogle are roughly as follows:

Tank:
0-1 min for nearly everything 4 man (low level sometimes takes a few minutes)
10-45 minutes for Crystal Tower
0-10 minutes specific Trials and Main Story stuff.

With CT it seems to be more of a general problem of not enough ppl joining the Q.

Also I don't think I've ever waited longer than 20 minutes as DD ever. That being said I'm fluent in german english and my french is okay, so I'm always q'ing for all languages.

It's not FF specific though, every MMo has that issue. If you want to DD mainly, you gotta live with the fact that most people want to.

I see this almost every time I queue (as a summoner). However, there is always something else to do - lvling up DoL/DOH, completing Animus books etc. is what I currently do, so I do not really see a big problem in it.

The duty finder put you in a party with other players from other servers of your datacenter, not only with players from your server.
If it need so long, then there are currently not enough tanks and healers using the duty finder to fill up the party. But at least the other DPS slot should be ready.

I never wait more than 5-10m as DD, it is very rare when I get up to 20m.

Anyway did you try to select all languages in DF? Did you set yourself with all languages as well? Although I just put myself with J and EN I wait those values I said. If you feel you are struggling then I recommend you do that, probably will improve your wait by several minutes.

Unless you are trying to do a very rare specific low lvl dungeon or guildhest may take up to 20-30m yes and if you select only F or D then good luck finding a party :x
