It wouldn't be so bad if this was just once in a while but 20 minute waits consistently for a 4 man dungeon is insane...

if there are this few people we might need to look at merging servers... or PEOPLE NEED TO MAKE MORE TANKS. when I play my dps instead of my tank the waits are insane

My Exact reaction to that XD

Yes, people should accomidate the way you want to play by playing jobs they dont want to play.

The fact of the matter is, with 2 tanks and 2 healers vs 4 DPS, more people are just done leveling their Tanks, and dont need to do dungeons.

Also, Merging servers wont help, the Duty finder pulls people from multiple servers anyways. So pretty much every point in this post is completely moot.

As a dps, I usually wait 30+ mins, and my server is pretty populated. I think it's a common thing for dps to wait in general. Let's face it, there's a lot more DPS than healers and tanks. It's what most people prefer to play as.

that's pretty standard for dps, and df is not exclusive to your server, it pulls ppl from all servers in you data center.

I am on a huge population server and its waning right now as well, you can expect another push with 2.3. With ppl clearing content as fast as they are except for coil, there is no reason for them to log in for anything but coil. Esp since with the low atma drop rate and other such nonsense like the relics being sub par to levi or coil weapons, quite a few ppl aren't bothering doing relics, or they pushed it out fast and are done.

Another draw back to easy button content and the ilvl system.

I switch to whm all the time for faster ques and then it's always a DPS holding up the que by no accepting and time running out or withdrawing because they want a dungeon in progress.

Empty or not, the problem is a shortage of tanks and healers. I play all three, when I queue DPS, I go my beast dailies. When I am about done the queue usually pop for the duty roulette. When I want to get myths, depending on my mood, I queue healer or tank and any time of the day the queue usually pops from instant to 2 minutes, where 90% of the time it is like 30 secs or less. The healer tank shortage is just that obvious.
