Thank you for the most useful response in this thread.
To all those babbling about using voice chat - yes it's useful, but these people are mostly on PS4's and do not have a voice chat option. Also, many players in Japan who have cleared T6-9 NEVER use voice chat. They strictly rely on macros and their party's ability to be able to learn on what to do in their roles. Voice chat is a crutch for people who cannot learn what their role is and the fight's mechanics and need to be "warned" or "told what to do". In the case with boquet - sure the macro is not needed for ME, but some of my party members are a little slow to learn so this will help them until they are able to just see it on their own.

First, the point about not using voice chat is legit, and I have no problem with macro's. However, it seems you have a contradiction that I'm struggling to understand. If voice chat is a "crutch", how is that different than macro's? Aren't they both accomplishing the same thing ("Warning" others)? To all those babbling about using voice chat - yes it's useful, but these people are mostly on PS4's and do not have a voice chat option.
