people actually sleep mobs when not doing a speed run? whats the point?
Depends on what the healer is looking to do. If you want to dps but your tank doesn't manage cooldowns well or isn't geared great, sleeping mobs is damage mitigation. This lets the healer freely dps with only having to worry about one mob's damage at a time. This becomes less necessary when you have an efficient tank or once you've acquired divine seal + regen, but is still a viable backup for tanks that have problems managing hate or incoming damage.
On the other hand, if the healer isn't going to dps, sleep is pretty much useless since no crowd control is necessary in dungeons.
