Sooo.. What's the 5 hour maintenance for?

I'm hopping they are going to fix the automatic tell log clear for when you blacklist someone. It was included in the 2.28 patch notes but didn't seem to work when I tried it on an RMT. I'm hoping this maintenance will fix it.

I think it's a brilliant idea. It makes tell spam a lot less desirable for RMTs as a form of advertising. Bravo, Square Enix. ^^

Just to be clear, it's the tell history that should be cleared, not the chat log itself.
Like, the blacklisted name shouldn't appear if you alt-R to do a reply to a tell.
Is that what's not working, or did you mean the chat log?

I do hope they are fixing latency and 90k. I've never had as many issues as in the past 3 days.

Fixing the lags issues great, but 5 h seems a bit too long for just this... Its possible SE is hiding something from us. Like the stuff they are going to announce today at E3.

YES it seems every maintenance / patch they seem to break more than fix .. can i get a refund on my nq mats i was mixing with my hq to make stuff great idea and they seemed like they took it way last patch… WHY?
