How do you know he was actually afk? It's extremely easy to manually control your fairy as a sch, and most of the dungeons in the game can be healed easily without using anything but embrace. Unless your healer was getting himself killed because he wasn't moving out of aoes or letting the melee dps die of poison, there's no problem. If your problem was he wasn't dpsing while his fairy healed, that's a different issue altogether(I think scholars that don't dps while nothing is happening are lazy scum, but that doesn't make them bad healers either)

I just use 2 DOT's on each mob and smack the mob with a book while my fairy heals usually.

OP, have you try healing some of these lowbie dungeons? It's boring as hell even if I clicked "Cure/Physick".

Yeah I could DPS but I choose not to and chat with my FC mates to keep myself awake. I don't really see a point because the cast time for Stone/Ruin is so long, probably only get to hit the mob 2-3 times or so before it dies.

If anything were to be blamed, it will be SE's design. No jobs were able to use skills learnt at a higher level when level sycn down, and SCH are the only ones who could bring EOS/Selene down to a level 30 and below dungeon when there are no such thing as a SCH prior to level 30.

I could manually walk around the dungeon instead of clicking "follow" and let my pet heal since you complained about "follow". Any issues as long as none of the party members are dead? You get your heals while I entertain myself with FC chat. I doubt GMs are going to warn me for grieving or harassment because you guys still got healed and no one died, period.

Yeah Eos is a kick ass little healer and if you're in a good group where the DDs aren't pulling agro from the tank and avoiding most AoEs you can get by with jut the fairy heals and the occasional Leeches. Just remember to use the Fairys Abilities manually. Put her on Obey and use the healing boost and AoE Heal smartly along with the Defense Buff and the one ability not on the Fairy's Action bar the increases healing and prevents her from being stunned. I've run some pretty good dungeons with FC Mates where I was in Cleric Stance DD 98% of the runs.

You could do any of the following:

A. Vote Dismiss them for AFK'ing. Though finding a new healer may be a bit difficult.
B. have the person they are following drag them into potentially lethal AoE repeatedly, thereby racking up their repair bill, significantly if they actually die.
C. stop moving until they come back and ask why there hasn't been any progress made.
D. Vote Abandon the Duty and try again with a different group.
E. Leave the party yourself. Yes you would have a 30 minute wait time, but as you are a Tank class, after that 30 minutes is up you will likely insta-queue. Basically all you will end up with is the equivalent to a DPS's average wait time as a one-off.
