Awesome New "Signature Move" Animations

In this thread I'd like to discuss the new signature move animations, and post video links if you have em.

I discovered Storm's Path for MRD the other day and have been spamming it like crazy lol. It reminds me a lot of Steel Cyclone from FFXI, unfortunately I couldn't find a youtube video for the new animation.

I think the only other one I've seen is Bloodletter and that was awesome too. Reminded me of Empyreal Arrow from FFXI.

These are not "new" moves or new animations that I'm aware of >.>?
I'm pretty sure my BF, who is MRD, has had Storm's Path for ages... isn't it that weird one where you have to kind of stand back from the mob/s to get them into range of it?

Nah, with 1.18 they changed a bunch of animations

I know the moves were already there, but they looked bland and crappy. Also, I can confirm that with Storm's Path you no longer have to be a certain distance away for it to hit. I've hit stuff that is right beside me and stuff that is like 10 feet away.

The animations are the same. However, what we're seeing is the particle related to hitting the mob. A particle is a spell effect contained as an image and/or a model with texture, and they usually scale with size vs. the target. That's why the Chigoe and Wharf Rat had small flashes and the crab and Aldgoat had huge, blinding flashes.

At least that's what I see.

Cool how there are 2 diff ones though. Maybe one is for regular TP and one is when you have 3000 TP? /speculate

It doesn't make the spell any less awesome looking though @_@ I wonder what it looks like on Batraal or Big Buffalo...those guys are huge >.>

Rage of Halone is a 5 slash awesomeness that we saw in the original video of the auto attack preview posted on the lodestone by the devs. Makes me very happy :d
