    Question About Starting City-State

    I am trying to decide between Gridania and Limsa Lominsa for a new character I am making, and I was curious if anyone knows if the city state under your user profile changes if you buy a house. If I started in Gridania but purchased housing in Limsa would my city state flag change to limsa, or would it remain as Gridania? It would be cool if it changed.

    It doesn't change. Your starting city-state technically is not your character's hometown, it's just where your story starts.
