Servers Crashing? (Balmung)

This will jinx me but: Zero troubles all day today. Though I haven't been playing all afternoon (afk more than a couple times) I've never d/ced and the duties I did had zero lag. It may very well be a routing issue, or could just be their usual Data Center hijinks. They do that.

Also it's 6:30 AM on Monday in Japan right now :P

This problem is game wide. I have 90Ked 5 times already today. I am also suffering from severe lag. I have had to wait for up to 10 Seconds to execute my next command. Seems like 2.28 still have some major compatibility problems as these problems did not exist for me prior to the patch. Wonder if the PS4 people are having the same problems.

I've haven't experienced anything on Midgardsormr yet, but I was running Titan EX and at least everyone in the party kept getting lag spikes or DCing. Shame, too; we were pretty good.

Excalibur is unplayable.

I can't even do dailies because I get kicked every 20 minutes or so with a 90k. Can't run dungeons. Can't get my alexandrite map, and I'd be scared to pop it in case I dc'd mid battle. Ran one dungeon with my friend, I disconnected amidst a huge lag spike that the entire party felt. On his screen it showed me dead on the ground, but I was at the login screen with a 3102. They had to vote kick me to fix it.

Excellent customer service on Sundays, I see.

Gonna guess this is the entire Primal data center and beyond that's affected?

Sheesh. Time to go play something else till this clears up.

It isn't just Primal because the OP and many repliers are from Balmung which is Aether not Primal.

Exodus wasn't too bad at first and then it just got ugly fast.

My sending/receiving was cutting out at regular intervals.
