Are both of you equally geared? If no who is higher geared?
What are both of your weapon iLevels (note: I still count Atma as i90 until that final book)?
How much downtime do you as a MNK have on the boss compared to the Bard?
Also not a good idea to talk about DPS on these forums. Parsers/parsing has become a ridiculous taboo
Both the bard and I have il110 weapon, we are about equally geared. The bard has more hate than me so his damage must be higher than mine lol
I have downtime during the double swoop but besides than I have me GL3
Is nael doin her jump before Iron chariot ? if yes your group is doin it wrong and you gotta shoulder tackle in her aoe, do one gcd, then go out and do two gcds, while runnin toward the boss when you re doin the third.
I am curious, is there someway to stop her from Jumpping?

Ya, you need to sweep her leg with DRG's "Leg Sweep" Ability and do it right before she jumps. We've managed to make her fall down a couple times where she would be stunned for about 2 seconds, but it's not 100% though.
THis made me chuckle. lol
OP, you should be highest in phase 1 quite easily. When you see him jump Shoulder Tackle, hit next ability in rotation, move out to dodge his aoe, move back in to get another hit in, and start walking back towards the tank so you can continue right away. You should be able to keep GL up except for the double meteor stream (T_T). You can start out with PB opener for the fight, or save it for after the double meteor stream. Some like to do it at beginning so they can use it again on golems. Melee should only be setting meteors near the boss as well.
I dont use PB on golems since my group dps is more than enough to get through golems. My dps will be lower in that phase, but we have around 5-7 secs every time b4 megaflare begins its countdown anyway. Also, I like to have it up right away after Megaflare(every time i use it on golem phase its always a few sec away from being back when Nael jumps down b4 1st HFall. i like to PB as soon as he comes down. Not a big deal, just my preference) . As your grp gets more comfortable with phase 1, they can also move in when they know the jump is coming so u dont have to move far(me and our drg love when he only hops like right behind us, but our grp doesnt move in, so it's not often lol).
TL;DR- If you keep GL through the single-jump meteor streams and shoulder tackle getting 2-3 hits in during iron chariot jumps, you should be well ahead of the bard (even if there is a drg in the grp) in phase 1. Golem may be a little different since they can dot up all three while you focus on one target(or they focus on blue golem with you then dot up the remaining two). If they continue to out dps after you got that down, then something is wrong with your rotation.

It's completely normal when you first started out to be lower than a Bard since they have the easiest time to adjust to a new fight. Kuroyasha has mentioned several things I do in this fight to continue keeping my lead of about 30-40 dps on the bard but that was when we didn't have a dragoon and bard is 3 ilevel lower. Just inform the healer that you might not stack for thermionic.
Even when thermionic mark is on you, if your group stacks just right outside of iron chariot's range, after iron chariot you can slightly move into melee range, hit the abilities, run back to the group while the animation is going on, run a bit past the group while the group is still in range of thermionic, wait for thermionic to go off and run back to the main tank. You will hit 1 less hit (2vs3) than when you're not targeted by thermionic but that's about the best thing you can do while not dying, keeping up GL3 and not having the group move into melee range after iron chariot.
