I would prefer job specific equipment (including crafters gear) should stay unique to their specific job. The look of a WHM should stay with WHm the look for BLM should stay with BLM the look of Miner should stay with Miner. If anyone can take the look of a crafting AF it cheapens the classes unique aesthetic look. If this comes to be they better make any job able to wear anything because it is unfair to cheapen just the crafters unique aesthetic. PLD body on all jobs? sure why not, WHM hands for everyone, BLM/SMN tophats for the masses, SCH skirts to all people, you want your WHM decked out in warrior gear why not?

But there is some ways for you to get warrior or DoW gear on a caster. Granted you had to be a 1.0 player and have held onto the old armor (i forget what it's called) but they are old armors that don't have a class restriction on them. I think most tossed or vendored them if they aren't shardable (again no idea on that).

To admit I am a bit jealous only because I would kill to put a dab of armor on my caster classes.. >w<

I have a friend that has a full set of Dated plate armor on his BLM, he looks just like a tank!
