It's pretty much a gamble until you are in.
The normal servers are very stable, some time passed since people got thrown out due to too much traffic.
It's just the lobby server, so as soon as you made it in, you can have lots of fun
I got in after about half an hour of constant trying, before there was a queue. Just keep on trying until you get in.
