Best looking gear too <3
Dragoons are best in worst MDef from all classes including crafters and gatherers, lol
Both Drg and SMN here.. DRG burst damage far exceeds SMN when all CDs are avail. After the intital burst of DRG is over with, yes SMN can keep on using Fester - but this is approaching sustained damage, not burst. Fester is only 300 potency after all, our Full Thrust is 330. SMN have to be careful Bane/Fester/Energy draining for burst, otherwise you're out of Aetherflow for a min and stuck with 80 pot Ruins.

Dragoons can also guarantee a critical. There's no way to force a fester to crit. Summoner burst damage isn't reliable while dragoon's is.Both Drg and SMN here.. A well played Dragoon is much more mobile than its punchy melee dps counterpart, thanks to all its jumps. There are quite a few neat tricks you can do, such as Elusive Jump out of an AOE to avoid a lot of damage and then Spineshatter right back in, using Spineshatter to land "on top" of an enemy and then immediately positioning behind for the Impulse Drive combo, using Ring of Thorns to deal a little aoe damage while moving around an enemy... All in all, they feel a lot more mobile due to their abilities.
I don't have DRG to 50 yet, but that's my impression.
