Well there is a new beastman stronghold in fallground floats.
It's blocked off as the gates are closed atm. So i'm assuming that might eventually be tied to something.

I have seen it and since it has the Ixaly's symbol I guess it will be the site where the Ixali's beast tribes quests are given.
I might have missed something, but why can't Shiva be the 1st primal to be added with an expansion? If I'm not mistaken, they said they would add an expansion pack every year and we are close to FFXIV ARR first birthday, plus Yugiri said that also in Doma they have primals, even though they are called by another name!
However, I like her original artwork but I really don't like the render (or at least what has been shown so far ...)

I think so too, because so far we've re-enacted with our characters the exact same steps and bosses as we did in the original FF3. So chances are it is literally the same dungeon for the rest of the time as well.
I’m of the opinion that the Ishgardians who will summon Shiva.
If I was to guess I’d say they will reveal the 1st expansion at E3 which will include opening up Ishgard, new jobs, new races and some controversy by introducing a Primal not summoned by a beast tribe per say which would explain the whole Elvaan look to shiva and where all the snow came from in Cortheas.
Perhaps they resorted to summoning a primal to help take out some big old nasty dragon or something, it would explain all their secrecy.

Isn't the whole reason Coerthas is snowy because of Shiva's presence? I'll be very surprised if she's not summoned there. As someone stated earlier, we only have access a small portion of Coerthas anyway, which I assume is why it's called "Coerthas Central Highlands" instead of simply "Coerthas".

They did something similar in Little Ala Mhigo, though I think its less "to fight a dragon", and more "trying to call up Halone the Fury"
"Halone, mover of glaciers and goddess of war, commands the element of ice and is tied to the First Astral Moon (first month). She is depicted as a relentless warrior holding a bronze greatshield, and her symbol is three spears. Halone is also the patron of the Holy See of Ishgard, and is bitter rivals with Nophica."
Mover of glaciers? Commands Ice? Also the patron of the Holy See of Ishgard.
We all know there's two stories the FF series can't resist. The first is the story of a small rebellion facing off against an empire, which we've already done. The Second is the story of a corrupt church that's gone over the line into madness.

some rumors about the gun class and the dagger class being revealed at E3 ^^
Larek Darkholme @ Ragnarok

The road map that SE had at launch showed Ramuh and Shivah both being released in 2.3 my assumption is that they split her into 2.4 just to keep up with the way they have been doing patches, it's likely that she could be near ready to go though. I can't remember exactly it was a long time ago, There is a quest or two in mor dhona that gives history on Giga, and that allude to Shivah, they mention that the Gigas worship an ice based primal and if I remember right they call it a she. As far as the poster goes the right side are the only 2 HNM fates we have odin/behemoth and are constantly used in advertising. From a marketing stand point the left side is ifrit/garuda the 2 best looking and easiest to represent characters artistically speaking it would be much harder to make Titan, levi, or mog look daunting and scary, yet ifrit and garuda have a presence that' hard to ignore.
