I don't know if you even bothered reading the post in detail. That being said, it's not just because the servers are down. It's the fact that SE does not communicate with their customers. Furthermore, they had ample time to test the servers as they continue to push things back however, it does not excuse them from just telling the public, "Sorry, we made a mistake please try again later in x hours".

Just to emphasis it's not just about not being able to log in.
