Um, the content is brand new and nobody has done it yet.

You expect people to bother with pick-up groups right off the bat? LSs have been planning for this night for months.

Because they want everyone who has taken a break from the game to never come back and would rather tell potential players to "go play wow" than show them why it is that they white knight this game so hard.

If you have tried the new dungeon, you know you wouldnt be doing it with pickups as well unless there was no choice.

I am glad to see the community saying "welcome back" to players checking out the patch though.

I seriously doubt a pug could do the dungeon... well until everyone has it down pat anyway.

I had hoped this update would be awesome, but it isn't shaping up to be anything like that. I'm disappointed that group-only content was added and the community quickly expresses their latent exclusiveness held over from FFXI. Nobody does anything outside their LS, or invites anybody outside their LS, and nobody has any openly recruiting linkshells, so anybody in a small LS or completely without one is screwed out of content and the ability to continue through the Grand Companies line of quests.

Worst of all, is that I can't even seek. I have to repeatedly shout, which I'm sure annoys everybody.

I can't imagine how this game will ever pull off a grand re-opening with this cold-shoulder culture.

What? Isnt seek party/invite to party in the game now? And just send tells to people or try to create your own party.
