Multiple PC accounts on 1 PS4 account

Good Day all. I had a quick question that I was hoping that someone else had already experienced. Both my wife and I have separate accounts of FFX14 for the PC. If I buy one copy for the PS4 Can both my wife and I access the game on the PS4? Does it work like it does for the PC where we can log into any computer that has the game installed or are there other issues?

The short answer is, 'no, you need to buy two separate PS4 copies'.

The reason for this is that, ultimately, each account can be considered to have an "access key" tied to it. Right now, you and your wife both have one account, each of which has an access key for PC. So you can play the PC version from any PC, by logging into that account, because your account is permitted to play on PC.

If you bought a PS4 copy, however, it only comes with one permission, one access key, one whatever - and you could only tie that to one account. That account would then be able to access the game on any PC or any PS4 by logging in, but that key only works on one account.
