    UPDATE

    It is working for me now guys. I tried it all throughout the day and it started downloading at 7:00pm U.S. Eastern time for me. I hope you guys get it working for you too. I think the server was just really congested and that lead to the problem.

    This isn't a problem on Square's end actually. Look at some of the other recent threads in this forum; the problem appears to be with one of the hubs that XIV data is routed through, and none of those are under Square's command; all they can do is repeatedly attempt to contact the communications companies that run that hub (good luck trying that on a Sunday) and get them to fix it.

    Its still squares problem IMO. They havent responded to us at all.

    I'm in the same boat. Paid to come back and play; I can't download the client. It does about 20MB, then the download speed slowly goes to 0 and I get the exact same error as OP. There are so many posts online about this issue, going back 8 months... but not a single solution!!!
