Am I the only one who thinks that Eorzea looks like Africa?

I always though Eorzea was more like Europe, hence the name similarity, lol.

Geographically, The Three Great Continents of Hydaelyn are akin to The Old World of Earth, with Aldenard, Ilsabard, and Othard being (as far as we know), similarly placed to Africa, Europe, and Asia. This likeness is at present reinforced by Othardian city-states being referred to as The Far East and talk of a New World far from the Three Great Continents.

Culturally and politically, Eorzea is based on the Greek city-states leading up to the invasion of the Persian Empire.

You know, if the Persian Empire was itself based on the Roman Empire.
