So before the patch, I would camp behest literally ALL day. Maybe if I was feeling really motivated, I'd craft between them. It's only 15-20 min between the end of a behest, and the start of a new one- so okay, boring, but no problem.
Also, I'd leve, but since that was barely a once a day though, it really had no huge significance to me.
With the news of 1.18 coming, I assumed this would be an opportunity for me to actually rank up with a party outside of behest. As a result, I got almost all my jobs to 25 so that I would be the minimum rank, and I could rank them all up.
So here I am. Stuck at 25. How can I rank up? I could behest, but now EXP is worse, and I can only do it once an hour. I could leve, but EXP is worse, and rewards are worse as well. Not to mention you can only leve like once a day, so that won't even rank you up anyway. I could solo grind, but I hate solo grinding, it isn't effective, and solo grinding has been nerfed "not that I care since I don't solo grind".
I'm seriously lost on how to level. I consider myself to be one of the more motivated people on my server to get max level. I went 37-50 in the last 1.5 weeks. I am SO lost on how I can rank up.
SE, I really urge you to quick fix the party search function, and give me SOME way to gain half way decent SP. If not, I don't know what I will do. I have a lot of faith in the future of FFXIV, and I know it will be great some day, and I don't think I'm asking for much here.
Does anyone agree with me on this? I don't want this to be a complaining thread, but I think it is, and I don't know what I can say. The instance was great. It was enjoyable. I got a cool rank 30 axe. The music was nice. I don't really care you nerfed my arch becasue it was OP, and I like that you nerfed my thm because I would rather my conj be main healer. I'm glad I can featherfoot now without pulling out my bow. I'm happy I can put my bow away while running. I like the repair system. I enjoy the new company quest system thing. All these are great, but how can I level?
