RMT's?

The most multi-boxing I've ever heard of with ppl having decent control over them with ('cause yeah they bot) was 5... there were like 12 of these guys out there.

Yeah...I was thinking something more like a bored system admin at a computer lab with a bunch of unused PCs who was doing it for his own fast leveling, easy gil, endless inventory and anima and such, where you still wouldn't have to have control over more than a few of them in action at any given time, while the rest were back at the aetheryte.

That said, I've seen the "Mys" family again and it's way bigger than it was back when I used to see it a few months ago. There were like 16+ at Bloodshore and I was thinking wow, they're getting bigger, I guess they probably are professional RMT...

...and then I teleported to Horizon and there were another 16+ of the same Mys family.

They're probably JP because if I see them active, it's like 1AM-11AM EDT. And that makes sense because the JP's are much more active than the NA and EU communities on Mysidia...i.e. there is some semblance of a market for them to sell to. Either that or they just plan to 'corner the market' for the PS3 launch.

It occurred to me the characters are called "Mys" because it's the server and it's for helping them keep their efforts organized. They probably have something like "Bes" on Besaid, "Lind" on Lindblum, etc.

Hmm... so yeah, most likely RMT. About the only other explanation I can think of is that they might be some kind of SE group.

It's not a normal GM's job to take care of RMT, I actually contacted the "special task force" quite a few times, and they were swift to respond. So yeah, he gave you the info you needed, doing his job.

I've never seen any RMTs like that until yesterday by the aetheryte (sp?) crystal in Uldah. There were about 6 of them and they all warped in about 2 seconds of each other. They might be the same ones from the picture.
