Maybe. But I'm beginning to think that majority of players using CC for payment. Maybe more than 80% of whole server population combined. Otherwise, there's should be pages of ppl ranting about this problem. :?

And sadly, maybe we're like very lesser group that only deals with payment alternatives, hence became one of reason why UGC/playspan discontinued.

Yes I agree majority most likely pay with CC or use the SE time card. Any game the forums users are a small percentage of the actual player base.

Personally I prefer using Paypal and we can now use it to buy a digital 60 days time card. I have a fake/debit credit card too that I got recently that I use but I prefer PayPal. It'd be best of course to be able to use PayPal directly instead of buying a time card with it.

the time cards are a good option for those that aren't Legacy(they give you 60 days time nomatter what), don't use extra retainers or want fantasia. but what about Legacy accounts and those who do use extra retainers or want more fantasia?
as a legacy account holder I do not see those time cards as an option for me, not when $29.99 USD would get me 3 months of time. not to mention I prefer to keep crysta on my account so I dont have to worry when my time is up. my preferred payment for crysta was the UGC but I could fall back on paypal if needed.

Square Enix Crysta Cards would be ideal. I wouldnt be surprised if a lot of players even paying with CC would use them.

Keep in mind it takes a corporation a fair bit of time to set up payment methods with 3rd parties. There is alot of internal discussion and debate that goes on to find the right solution. Many departments within the corporation must collaborate such an issue and come up with the best solution. As a corporation, money is key. You can't just throw money at a 3rd party payment system willy-nilly, or it could bit you in ... you get the idea. Be patient, they already said they are looking into it in a post on the lodestone when Ultimate Pay was removed.

I need to be able to pay with PayPal, too. Charging credit cards to buy Crysta makes it more expensive for me due to the bank's exchange rate and fees.

So i did charged my paypal account and went to this link > http://store.na.square-enix.com/stor....#.VEpcuRZ0Wze to buy a gametime card , trouble is , i can't buy it because my paypal adress is mine ( in belgium ) , so when i got to the checkout thingy to pay with paypal , it won't accept it because of my address on paypal...

My last option, and i hate this , is to go through those weird key site .... G2W and those kind of site.

I really don't want to buy an EU Game and lvl all my jobs again so....

Hey. I'm a legacy player and i had to buy a prepaid gametime card - 2 month through amazon...

apparently you wont accept my mastercard, so i've always bought gametime and crysta through ultima pay since it was my only option. either by paysafecard or paypal.

And now that option is gone.

SE is working to add PayPal directly as an option to buy crysta. There was a post by Camate earlier this month about it, I'll try to post back here with the actual quote. As for the one with conflicting country issues, hopefully that will be sorted out through this but we have to wait and see how it is done.

We understand the frustration that the removal of the PlaySpan, and by extension PayPal, billing option is having on customers that relied on it for paying for subscription fees or for the optional services like retainers.

I really hope they fix Paypal to buy Crysta. I'm missing out on so much and playing with my friends because Paypal is literally the ONLY way I can pay for my account and it ran out of time shortly after the change.
