Unjustly penalized for dungeon leave

An issue wherein players would not receive a penalty for leaving a duty while other players were still loading into the instance.

While this issue was a real problem for people who would drop group the instant they got into a dungeon because they didn't want to run it, I think it may have had an unintended side-effect:

I just queued up for a low-level roulette dungeon, fully intending to finish it for the myth tomes and spare cash, a few minutes ago. All four members load in just fine and the healer starts buffing until he's suddenly 90k'd (or at least it appeared to be a 90k). Unsure if he'd get back, the remaining three of us decided to drop because who knows if he's gonna be coming back. I'm the first one out, and I'm apparently hit with the 30-minute leave penalty.

One or twice in the past, I've been in a dungeon where one person DCs before we're allowed to properly kick them, been the first out and have not been penalized. If this is unintended, I hope it gets resolved soon.

You could have kicked the tank. And I'm pretty sure vote abandon is available to 4-man content. I don't think your incident is any different than what would have happened any time before. Or wait... can you kick early into a duty? /shrug

I'm sorta glad they decided to fix this loophole people been abusing. I had Sirius for one of my BLM Animus books... queue for Sirius, got the same tank for like 3 pops in a row that just quit while people in CS. 30min+ wasted waiting in queue.

I think you only need to be 5mins into the dungeon before you can vote kick, I'd give the DC person that 5mins to log back in before leaving/abandoning.

I'm sorry to say, you were in the wrong here, you only need to wait 5 mins to use vote kick, just wait for the healer to come back, 5 mins later vote kick, you should never need to leave a dungeon just because one player DCs, unless you are waiting ages, there will always be healers looking for a party in progress, if you can't even wait 5 mins before giving up it's you that's in the wrong not the system.
