Unreasonable expectation on Blm in t7?

TRY KEEPING DPS UP ON ADDS WHEN YOU GET CURSED SHRIEK!!!! That's 20 seconds of no dps on adds for me, what am i expected to do?

While BLM is the least favoured class for coil2, this reply does tbh, show that you likely are not playing it well for that turn.

If every add/the boss is out of range for where you need to go for shriek, you should be using and proc you have, as you run and just because you got out of range finish with SC- Flare on the boss or an add. You Can then transpose as you wait for Shriek and scathe as you run back into position, leaving you full mana to resume dps. Even once you see the Shriek timer you should not be running right away, time it so you can get off another cast before moving into position.

Do something like that and your dps should be within an acceptable range regardless of the shrieks you get.

BLM played well will still do more dps than most people you find in PUG's.
