Which stat?

I doubt the stat matters. It's the same for every sphere scroll. The more you put materia in the harder it apparently becomes put more materia in (of that specific kind; ie. Heavens' Eye). Yet, from the looks of it you have to fill it up with 75 materia to finish it.

It matters since some stats have cap at 44, det at 31, pie at 33 or 23 depending on which job it's for...
It matters since I've seen people say they were on 8th infusion and still on materia 1's...
Does det require less materia 1's than for example crit since det only goes to 31 and crit to 44?

It also matters especially for the Sword/Shield combo for Paladin's, since the stats there are split.
