Would this be difficult to implement? (exploration)

I think the sightseeing log was a nice first step towards encouraging players to explore Eorzea. So good job on that! However, I feel that it shouldn't be the only incentive because of the way it works (having to wait for time and weather)....which leads me to the point of this thread! Would it be possible to add rock formations on the side of already existing cliffs that can serve as a "jumping puzzle" or sorts? Or perhaps adding a trail of branches or giant leaves to trees that lead us all the way to the top (or half way)? Heck, they could include journals left behind by adventurers that can shed light on some lore for the location you're in.

Eorzea is pretty big and it feels like a missed opportunity to include things that explorers could find by just exploring and fooling around.

While it's definitely possible and I'd love to see it, they NEED to rework the jumping system in this game. It is quite literally, no exaggeration here, the WORST jumping system I've ever seen in ANY game, mmo or not.

The root of the problem is not being able to adjust yourself mid-jump. While it sounds ridiculous, it really is the problem. Trying to just forward just a little bit? Very difficult to do once, let alone repeat it multiple times. If you could adjust mid-jump, you could jump, then tap your forward button. The same thing applies for just adjusting where you want to land.

But yea once/if this ever gets fixed, I'd absolutely love to see jumping puzzles in this game. It was my favourite part of GW2, and I LOVE exploration in games, and in general this game's world feels pretty shallow with no reason to explore, and even if you do there's nothing to find at the moment. Exploration logs are a step in the right direction though.

Attowha Chasm in FFXI. So much damn fun, and there was a big NM at the top waiting to eat your face.

That was truly one of the best things to climb in FFXI and the trip to get there was fun to.

Or that area with the Massive trees and you had to go inside the tree to make ur way to the crystal to do the instant battle for Ramuh
