I've only abandoned one CT run in recent memory, and it was because people just wouldn't listen to advice. If half a dozen people are telling you over alliance chat to face the bone dragon north, you'd think it'd sink in that facing it south is probably a bad idea. Usually I go with at least 3-4 friends/fc members though, so we at least know there's one team that isn't completely gimp. Still, it can be really trying.

When I go in as tank, I always take IG's at the KB stage. There's nothing like watching an undergeared tank that doesn't know how to position them. It makes my head hurt. The last time I went on my DRG, the tank simply stood all the way at the edge (like you do for KB) and left the IG inside the tornado. It's like: you realize I can't hit him in there, right? So you have a bunch of dragoons throwing lances at an IG, and a bunch of monks standing there being useless or chasing bombs for lack of anything better to do.
