Buying a larger house, any idea?

I'm currently saving up Gil to buy a medium FC house. As of now my FC has a small house filled with what is or was expensive furniture.
My question is when I buy our medium house will the furniture we take out of our small be able to be placed into our new house? I would really hate to spend all my Gil on a larger house just to have to rebuy or make all of our previously placed furniture.

I'm not 100% sure on this, but as far as I know any furniture you attempt to move from the small house will be lost. You're probably going to to have to remake/buy everything D: Unless SE adds/added a house upgrade/moving feature.

Housing items bound to you, or technically the FC. Just like equipment, you can't sell it on MB, but you can take it and put it down somewhere else whenever you feel like. When you take these items out of the house, it gets placed in your inventory.

The only items that you wouldn't be able to take with you to the new house is the ones that specifically say "Cannot be retrieved once placed". Once you attempt to retrieve these items, they vanish.

Most expensive furniture (like any primal stuff - garuda couch, titan lamp etc) will be destroyed once you try to remove it. Cheap furniture (like oasis table or something) you can remove and place back in.
