This. Also keep in mind it would have been about 3 weeks instead of a month but they had technical issues at their office that delayed the entire patch by a week. It may not even have taken them the whole time to develop the new method but considering they likely came to the decision right before the last patch that meant by default that Novus couldn't land until 2.28. Otherwise they would have had to make it i's own special patch.

Another thread where the OP has zero idea what it takes to design, develop, test a game and assumes it's a fast process simply because a feature seems simple.

Frankly, customers shouldn't be asked to care about the behind the scenes process. They pay for a product and in general have a set of expectations for that product based on past and present products of a similar nature. Yes, I'm sure making a game is hard, but that's the business SE is in and they are a major player in that business and it is perfectly fair for paying customers to expect them to be able to offer competitive service.

If they listened to feedback about the Atma/Animus process, how did they conclude that selling maps for 800 myths was a good idea after burning us out making us grind 15,000 myths already, something which garnered extensive negative feedback?
