I was really excited for this. I want to figure everything out myself. I got to the first location in Limsa, tried every emote. Then I realized that since the clue started with "Under the azure," that I should probably do it when there's a clear blue sky. It was overcast while I was playing. So I found the next location, also in Limsa. The clue mentioned "the dead of night," or something like that. So me and 5 others all gathered around midnight (Eorzea time). No luck. Nothing at 1 AM, nothing at 2 AM. Finally someone looked it up and it's supposed to be between 8 and 11 PM. That's not the dead of night! And the weather is supposed to be clear. On to the next clue. Found it. It's supposed to be raining, but it was just overcast. Another one hinted at windy weather. Another one mentioned clouds, but overcast skies were apparently too cloudy.

I still don't know what happens when you complete an entry. This is very frustrating.

This is how this game works now. People like OP do this then devs get bombarded and get tired of the BS and cave and change content to make it easier.

It's something to do when you happen to be in the zone and the weather is correct.

No, you don't. Cause you have no way to know the right weather or time or emote without camping the location for hours.

If you want to ease some frustration, forum posters are contributing to a list in this thread. It's by no means complete (specifics as to time and weather are still being confirmed) if you want to take part, it's still a lot of doing for yourself! (especially as currently there's zero information on anything past the first 20).

I have no problems with the sightseeing system as it is now, I simply hop by, check if the weather is the right one, if not, then I go do something else and try later. People are too used to having everything handed in a silver platter, or as fast as possible. Some things are meant to take time.
