Novus Alexandrite Question

Hello, dev team. If I upgrade my Curtana Animus to Novus first, am I still be able to farm Alexandrite from FATE with only Holy Shield Animus equipped?
Has anyone tried to farm Atma with only Holy Shield Zenith? Does it work?

Q: Being a Paladin, do I need to equip both the Zenith Sword and Shield to obtain Atma?

A: No, you only need the Zenith Sword to be equipped in order for Atma to drop. While you can collect all the Atma without the Upgraded Shield, it should be noted that you will not be able to fully complete the quest unless you also have your Zenith Shield (does not need to be equipped just in your inventory/armory bags). So if you skipped out on upgrading the Shield earlier due to a better upgrade, now would be the time to upgrade it.

that is a really good question.. it really wouldn't be fair if you couldn't farm alex for you shield having completed your sword.. a dev or rep response to this would be truly helpful for confirmation.

Thanks for reply. I'v already known it works for sword without shield, but not sure if it works for shield without sword.
Since I got sword scroll and shield scroll separately, I think it may be different to atma? just wish to confirm.
