Finally level 50!

Today i just hit 50!! YAY!! -> Alissa Carmichael/Malboro server/Absolute Zero FC

I consider myself a new player still even though i just hit level 50. I have loads of content to explore and side jobs to accomplish.

When you hit 50 where did you go? What did you start working on? Is there a certain path i need to take to gear up in order to get raid ready?

Another question, i could not find ANYWHERE on the net where to get the Aetherial Crab Bow....they state where to get the regular one...where do i find the Aetherial one?

To summarize. (If I'm not wrong)

Wanderer Palace/Amdapor Keep for ilvl55+ -> Haukke/Copperbell HM for ilvl60+ -> Brayflox/Halati HM for ilvl70+ -> Crystal Tower for ilvl80 -> Binding Coil / Extreme Primals for ilvl90+
1 - Wanderer's Palace will have a ilvl55 darklight weapon that you can obtain to replace your current bow. You can even have a friend kind enough to make you a Longarm Composite Bow, this will be needed for your relic weapon anyway.
2 - You can skip any of the places between 55 to 80 if you are confident enough to tackle the next one.
3 - You can start your relic and finish it once you are ilvl ready and mentally prepared for it. Try to run any dungeons that you can get gears to meet ilvl requirement.
4 - The myth and soldiery tome you obtained throughout running these dungeons can be traded in for ilvl90/100 gears at Mordhona - Revenant's Toll. You can get these gears to slowly replace the lowest ilvl that you have.

Congratulations on hitting level 50!

* For weapon, I recommend starting with either Flame Lieutenant's Bow (bought with GC seals) or Darklight Composite Bow (drops from Amdabor Keep and Wanderer's Palace). Longarm Composite Bow is the 3rd option, and as KinnisonArc said above, you will need one anyway for your relic quest. It's crafted and can be bought from the Market Boards (although you should check if someone in your FC could craft one for you cheaper if you give them the materials).

* In addition, you should unlock your relic weapon quest to start working on your Artemis Bow. This page has all the instructions you need.

* Most of the new dungeons unlock from quests starting from either Vesper Bay or Revenant's Toll. Check this page and the list of quests unlocked after completing main scenario to catch them all.

* For gear, you should aim for getting as many item level 90 mythology pieces and item level 100 soldiery pieces as possible. You can farm 450 soldiery every week (resets on Tuesday) and unlimited amount of Mythology. You get soldiery from so called expert dungeons (longstop hard, amdapor city and halatali hard), and you may want to gear up a bit before challenging those. Mythology is rewarded from all level 50 dungeons. You also get extra mythology / soldiery rewards from running your daily duty finder roulettes.

In short, you should start working on your relic weapon quest and gearing up with mythology (and soldiery, a bit later). After finishing your relic quest you'll get access to Coil 1 and the extreme primals. After finishing Coil 1 you get access to Coil 2.

You can actually do Crystal Tower much sooner than Kinnison suggested. It's item level 50 to enter but you should probably be around 55-60 to meaningfully contribute to fights, beware of trolls though. Crystal Tower drops a good amount of myth and has a chance to drop item level 80 pieces so it's worth messing around with at least a little bit.

Thank you Garlyle, i read every bit of it....I think i should start on relic and crystal tower asap!! i have main story done, and class quest. I have my gear from market board to i50 today as well
