At patch 2.3 no more need to clear Primals Extremes to access Mog Ex and Levi EX

LOL how amazing. I just finished Ifrit EX last night and unlocked Levi EX and Mog EX.

Oh well, at least I have the personal accomplishment of finishing them.

Yep wouldn't be surprised by this at all. I've always thought it'd be better if they had made it so each EX doesn't block you from doing the other. Example: Each EX is it's on standalone quest in the respective areas and you simply go and unlock them by talking to someone in Limsa,Ul'dah, and Gridania. Then bam they're there for you to do at your leisure. (And not taking up a spot in your duty list while you're at it)

I can see it being. Levi EX, Moogle EX, AND Ramuh HM to do Ramuh EX.

You'll probably still need Leviathan and Good King Moggle Mog Extreme to unlock Ramuh Extreme though. I imagine we'll see another Primal Focus like quest from the three new Extreme's.

^^^ yeah it is just the "older" content that is made available to people who fell behind. I mean besides some accesoires and minions, the Primal Ex fights are already useless now thanks to the Level 100 Levi weapons. So no need to go through the Primals anymore although I would never skip a single fight in this Game and be it just for the sake of completion.

This isn't exactly true. I still use my EX Axe on WAR for the acc for T4-5, and probably the later ones even though I have the Levi Axe. Granted, I've had to spend my soldiery lately on other jobs, but iirc the Noct set doesn't have that much Acc on it. Food gets me close, but not quite. Just saying, there is a bit of a balance there, stat-wise.

I doubt Ramuh will be locked behind the "Old Primals"
SE may add another Primal Focus that relate to weekly clear for: Leviathan, Moogle EX, Ramuh.
