    Status Effect Timers Overlapping

This is a minor pet peeve of mine, but I've always felt that the Status Effect buff and debuff icons are spaced too closely. This is mostly noticeable when two buffs have double-digit minute durations.

Having comfortable padding around UI elements makes for better visual tracking.

I've also noticed this pre-2.2 where the cast bar of the Focus Target overlaps much of the other UI sub-elements. Also, the current Player Status icons (the /afk, /busy, /lfp and /lfm) are too close to our character's first name.

Please, Minagawa-san, at least consider spacing the icons a little farther apart.

    Update for ver. 2.28

I just want to express my heartfelt thanks to the UI team for working on this, even if this may seem like a minor thing to some.

Yes, this is even more annoying if the character's name begins with an I.
If you have the waiting for duty icon before an I and have the original color the I almost seems to be fused together with the icon.

I logged in and was pleasantly surprised to find the timers now much better spaced!

Thanks, Minagawa-san and the UI team!
