The idea is fine in this game, it's just their implementation of it that fails.

Had it been a simple case of just visiting the locations without camping time/weather, I'd be completing the log right now, rather than complaining on the interwebs.

Seriously, please SE change this.
I was so excited to do jumping puzzles like in GW2. Jump jump jump, click a floating thing, check out a sweet view!

Seriously, I hate it already, its stupid. MUST be a time and weather for you to do it, AND ONTOP of that you have to use an emote,.... Rubbish. NAH i'm out.

Please change this, just make it fun like GW2 did.
It's a shame because I love everything else in the game, the one thing I disagree with!
I didn't even mind farming the atma :P

I was really looking forward to the sightseeing log, but after wasting an hour getting zero entries complete, it actually made me put the game down. It actually put me in a bad mood and turned me off the game. How the heck did they manage to make this so obnoxious? I should have never unlocked it; at least then I'd be leveling my CUL.

Between the obnoxious zodiac quest that I refuse to eve start and this equally annoying "feature", I have never been so disappointed in a patch. Actually, I've loved every patch except this one. Please stop trying to turn me off this game SE!

Seriously! You sum up exactly how I feel I logged onto the game after it patched, thinking, "Wow, this looks fun! Let's try it out!" Nope, its not. I too wasted an hour trying to complete the unlock quest, decided it wasn't fun, and abandoned it and went to do something else. Maybe I'll pick it up again later when it improves (and the objectives become more clear and there aren't 100 people trying to complete each entry at once, cluttering my screen). Apparently I'm not alone, as I watched many people in my FC and on my server get mad and just give up too.

Great idea, terrible implementation.
