    Curtana and Holy Shield Novus

This for all that are experienced in the PLD job and probable are working on their Novus and since you all know that stats can be changed. What you think it could be the best way? what can we change?

Disclaimer: I haven't played Patch 2.28 yet, so everything here is speculation based on info I've scrounged up from others.

We can choose which two of the secondary stats we want, these being Accuracy, Parry, Skill Speed, Crit Rate, and Determination. I haven't logged in to post patch 2.28 yet, so I don't know how the sphere scrolls work in relation to Paladins having both a sword and shield to worry about. I hear that one of the first steps of the quest is to buy 3 special inks from Miss Ripoff in Revenants Toll in order to get the Sphere Scroll. I'm suspecting/hoping that where the other classes need 3 inks for their weapon, Paladins need 2 for the sword and 1 for the shield. I also really hope that I can start working on my Holy Shield Novus while simultaneously working on the Curtana Animus

I'm also pretty certain that Paladins will need to fill out two scrolls. With 2 handed weapons providing 75 points and a suspected 66 if Determination is a chosen stat, it would stand to be assumed that the Shield scroll will support 22 points and the Sword scroll will support 53, provided that Determination is not chosen.

As for actual stats to choose: I'd personally leave the Curtana alone. Accuracy/Parry is basically the best combo for the weapon and it helps optimize parry without falling below the accuracy cap. As for the shield, it's a given to keep parry. I'm personally considering Accuracy as stat 2 here as well, but that might be a little overkill as it won't be enough to allow switching from the Noct Gauntlets to the High Allagan Gauntlets while keeping above accuracy caps. Accuracy is certainly the "safest" when considering future content, but it might actually be best to toss Determination or Crit on the Shield.

I was wondering if anyone has new insights on this?

    Currently, what I read is:
Curtana Sphere Scroll: Accuracy and Parry (Or maybe this is obsolete now?)
Holy Shield Sphere Scroll: Parry and ???

Has anyone finished theirs already and have more to add?
I am just starting mine and trying to decide on the best course for my weapon and shield.

acc as much as you like (depending on your pers. preference its either a) open up acc slots for other equipment or b) prepare for future content), rest doesnt matter at all. most important fact for the novus is: wd+mainstat.
