I'll probably end up screwing myself over, but I'm putting 15 points in each stat(SS, Acc, Crit, Det, Pie) for my omnilex xD.

Im going for crit and det for my omnilex, as a scholar there isn't much sense in investing in even more piety. I have free heals from eos a low cost spamable, aetherflow and the drain skills it's very rare for me to run out of mp and when it happens im one of the last people to run out of mp. So bigger heals seems more cost efficient than anything else I wont even need the t9 book once I get novus the difference in crit is negligible which will make my novus BiS for Scholar atm.

Not to rain on your parade or discredit some of the things you said, but the HA Grimoire has +2 MD over the Novus, not to mention some MND on the secondaries themselves. The DET you're putting on the Novus is not close to offsetting that MD+MND difference. But yeah, a DET+CRIT Novus would still be very good ;p..

Well.... yea? The Novus is ilvl110 and the HA is ilvl115, just like Relic +1/Zenith against Allagan Weapons (After people bitched about it being the same ilvl)

Hello fellow Scholars, I need your help.

I am currently going the Crit+DET route on my novus, as I think that is the best bet. I was also going to use sands to upgrade my sold armor because it has crit, but another fellow SCH said I should go toward a SS/DET build. His reason was because with all the crit from armor+weapon, I wouldn't get much benefit from all that crit. Anyone else have thoughts on this or can provide some insight before I move forward? Thanks.

Maximum Piety for Thyrus is 33, Maximum Determination is 31.

has an option to customize the Novus so you can plan it out and compare to your other gear.
