The Goblet...wut?

Maybe they removed the one good thing about it, the miqote dancers? :/ I have no idea. I never come there anyhow, i hate how it looks and feels.

The water is clearer/nicer everywhere. The main squares water has paved road underneath it now. There are loads and loads of new palm trees everywhere. The mountains encircling the goblet were lowered to provide a greater view of the sky and additional hawks added flying around. The sound of the moving streams and waterfall were both amplified. I have heard there's something up with the night sky but I logged off before then, will check it out later.

I took a few pics of our ward recently because it filled up, and not with the intent of taking "Before" pictures. I wish I had taken more. The "After" screenshots were taken last night, after waiting out a very long period of foggy weather. Anyway, my shots only show the difference in the surrounding mountains. When I went exploring, nothing seemed different except for the mountains and the stone path in the water. And if I'm not mistaken, it looked like someone finally watered my lawn.

Yea they cleared up the horizon a bit to show more sky. Maybe not as visible from your location.. Can't remember our exact plot but it's right by the Goblet East aetheryte, there's a pretty big difference.

Thanks for the pics, Lenne! I'm personally not a fan of the desert, but one thing that is amazing about it is the night sky. Removing/lowering some of the cliffs that crowded around the Goblet was a much needed improvement, IMO.

It looks like I'm the only one that liked the previous more canyon-like aspect of the Goblet, instead of just being surrounded by dry mountains as it is now.

I would have liked if SE asked those of us that already bought a house there what we would like to see changed. Did they never consider that maybe someone bought their house there because they liked the area as it was? Improvements are all welcome, but changes on something that is not exactly cheap...

I'm not going to die, tho. I'm just saying that I would have liked to have some word on it.

The water didn't used to have cobblestone under it.. now it does. beyond that they didnt change nothin! That is not what we were anticipating. I was hoping they would brighten the place maybe give it some jewel encrusted walls or some more greenery at least...
