I hope we get more sights in the future. I would love a sightseer or eternal tourist title, something like that.
The apkallu is nice, but man. Titles.

Congratulations to all those who've now gotten their sightseeing logs completed. And yeah, don't forget the one true point of the content: to make us appreciate the beautiful sights and vistas around Eorzea. Sometimes - when we're racing around doing battle or questing - we don't have time to stop and admire the view. Several of the places featured on the log are particularly stunning. #31, #41, #71 and #72 come to mind.
Happy sightseeing all. And thank you to Square Enix for adding the feature. I'm a huge fan of any extra lore they can throw our way. ~
PS. I named him Churro.

Down to my last 7 to go. Just wanted to say thanks to everyone here that posted info & screenshots. I was stuck on #48 as well but got lucky... someone else was up on the vista already and offered to teleport me to vista via raise. I got killed by the nearby mobs, near the person, they raised me... and it put me up on the spot!

This is exactly what happened to me, and the only one I've 'cheated' on! XDDown to my last 7 to go. Just wanted to say thanks to everyone here that posted info & screenshots. I just wanted to post here and say thank you to those who contributed to finding the locations, and also the people who created the google docs as an easy way to organize time of day, weather, and location. I finally finished up my locations earlier today. I have to say, the ones that gave me the most trouble were... 39 (jump from the logs to the canvas roof in central shroud), 76 (jump from wall to wall to wall at dawn), and 80 (climb up the red structure in Mor Dhona and then jump in the tree). I knew where to go, but actually making the jumps/maneuvers was driving me insane. I don't think I'm very good at judging distance, but after enough time, practice makes perfect... it's just frustrating when you are racing the clock.
I found the easiest way to do this was to organize every location by time of day, location, and weather. That way, you can keep in mind when weathers change and teleport around to see if the weather you need is up or not. A few days after making my own sloppy notepad organization, I realized someone did the same exact thing and made it a very visually appealing google doc. XD I did make some friends along the way, which was very fun... in particular, when one of us couldn't make it up and others are struggling, the one person to FINALLY make it up would coach the others on how to do it, and provide words of encouragement.
I'm very happy with the apkallu pet, but I'm wondering if they do anything besides just following you around... I haven't seen anyone else with one yet to test it out, but I know they must be around.
About 48... I think the description provided in the OP is a little misleading, which may be why people are having trouble with it. Like many others, I tried to stick to the provided advice exactly... but that's not how I got up on the log. I tried to jump from the northernmost log several times before getting frustrated and realizing I just wasn't going to make it that way. So, I went back on top of the horizontal logs and tried jumping up to the middle log at an angle... It only took a few tries. I believe I was on my chocobo at the time. Then, some other person just couldn't get it so I raised them on top of it. I'm sure it's possible to do it the way the guide says to do it, but I also did it this way, and it was easier for me... I don't know. :S

Anyone got a screenshot of #50? I cannot figure out what branch this thing is on. Been jumping around there for days now.

When you go to the high clifftop overlooking these roots (west edge of the map near the tower), you will be standing by a large stump. You see the roots extend from below the stump.
Hug the right side of the stump as you approach the cliff (west side as you walk south), then drop down on the roots below. At the point where the roots split, take the leftmost arm and voila. Vista.

need help with log 67 jump can't seem to get it lol and i missed weather thanks to that XD
Im tired of waiting 3 weeks for a weather pattern to pop only for 1 hour et time. So I have to camp this spot rather than do content. Great design, so many time synch to hide lack of content
