#38 is making me want to tear my hair out. Any tips?

Just use the furnitures that hold the lances as jumping pads. #38 is actually fairly easy :x
Derp. Meant #39. not 38.

Does anyone have a screenshot of #48? I can't find the right spot.
Does anyone have any tips for getting on top of the pillar for #59 in Southern Thanalan?
Even with sprint I'm having a really tough time. :/
update: chocobo, got it.

I hope we get more sights in the future. I would love a sightseer or eternal tourist title, something like that.
The apkallu is nice, but man. Titles.

#48 is probably THE hardest jump to make out of the entire sightseeing log.
In great detail: figure out how far your mount can back up on the log to the left in the picture. That's your jumping point. You will need just about all the space available on that tiny log. Next, figure out the very highest point on that log, the very tip. You MUST launch your jump at that point, with grievously little room to get your mount up to speed, because that is the only point on the left log where you have enough elevation to reach the vista log. Run your mount straight through the center of the log, and aim for the center of the middle log. Basically it requires a pixel-perfect backup, and then a pixel-perfect launching point at the very topmost of the launching log.
... Then rip your hair out in frustration as you run off the vista because you didn't check your mount in time. :/

Congratulations to all those who've now gotten their sightseeing logs completed. And yeah, don't forget the one true point of the content: to make us appreciate the beautiful sights and vistas around Eorzea. Sometimes - when we're racing around doing battle or questing - we don't have time to stop and admire the view. Several of the places featured on the log are particularly stunning. #31, #41, #71 and #72 come to mind.
Happy sightseeing all. And thank you to Square Enix for adding the feature. I'm a huge fan of any extra lore they can throw our way. ~
PS. I named him Churro.
... unless you don't have a strong PC (like me) and goes for max quality to get 15~30fps max, then this jump goes pretty easy ... ^^
Mentioned in Japanese Wiki that this way is much easier to get on #48 and all other which requires hard jumps.
