I'm aware I can do the sphere scroll over again... it sounds sounds (all speculation) like it'll be horrible to have to do so. And the discussion on Skill Speed & dev requests on its behalf have gone on long enough (imo).

Well they said that you can't redo the scroll in this patch, so that isn't an option yet. As for skill speed making you run out of tp, it hasn't happened to me yet on dragoon in any of the coils and the soldiery gear is loaded with it. Turn 8 seems to be the most tp draining fight in the game so far and it is easily manageable with invigorate and a bard actually uses the tp song occasionally.
So aside from the tp issue that could arise (which doesn't actually arise) the only other issue would be the stat conversion rate. Even that isn't an issue, however, as they have stats valued in comparison to other stats. You might get more benefit point for point from determination, but you also get less of it from gear. Using that Gae Bolg Novus as an example, if you keep the acc stat conversion in crit (as they did, the 40 acc on animus would be 44 on novus. It was just turned into crit) and convert the crit from animus into determination on novus, you would only get 22 determination instead of the 31 crit. Dps-wise, that is about the same. The only real benefit from the stat customization would be from altering the accuracy depending on if you are at the cap or not.
