Tell us if you're upgrading SS or not... prior to us Removing it all from our Animi

We all know too much Skill Speed can possibly lead to TP Starvation, therefore potentially acting as a detriment to our DPS during prolonged encounters...

It's been discussed in length, we've talked about you, we've tried to get you (SE) to talk about it...

    Now is really the time.

I don't want to blow a ton of resources & time toward replacing all the SS from my Animus just to have it go to waste.

So can we please get an official word right away Dev's?

Will SS be improved to additionally scale TP regeneration or not?

if it's improved in the future you can always do the scroll again to revert back. I don't think any dev can give you a straight answer though and whats the point in investing in SS now since you already know it's not good? Also, there're sidegrades you can utilize for the time being.

I'm aware I can do the sphere scroll over again... it sounds sounds (all speculation) like it'll be horrible to have to do so. And the discussion on Skill Speed & dev requests on its behalf have gone on long enough (imo).

Try Second Coil wearing heavy SS without a Bard to act as your personal Paeon drone.

If you know how to play Monk right, too much SS will deplete your TP during long encounters if you're optimizing skill output.

Yeah, played optimally on a static target most dps jobs will run out of TP in around 4 minutes, that's with using Invigorate aswell. Skill Speed IS a dps increase, despite what a lot of people think, but it's a bigger drain on your resources which becomes apparent in loger fights. It's currently the worst off stat for DRG/MNK/BRD for those reasons and you should probably stay away from it until it maybe gets adjusted.

T6+ is fine on SS, since there are a lot "downtimes", where you avoid mechanics/forced to stop for a short period of time. IF i could go apeshit and all out on the boss, then i would have an serious TP Issue. But for now Invig is there and up again as soon as i need it, since those little "downtimes" are enough to regerenate my TP fast enough. Having a Bard does help a lot of course, but BRD has its Paeon for a reason.

T8 is probably the only turn in second coil where too much SS can really TP starve you. The other turns have plenty of TP breaks. Regardless of that, should the devs ever actually address SS in any fashion, it most likely will be during a content cycle where Novus will be outdated.

This ^ I dropped SS for Crit / Det - It hasn't affected my DPS at all really, but my TP management is not an issue anymore
