I'm sorry, this is putting "kill me first" on my head, I agree that FF players have a very very low level in pvp (compared to other MMO) but it's still the dumbest idea ever seen ! Put the name of the players directly, it would be more useful to a gameplay perspective...

PS : Go ladder 30/40 to train hard before join us in ladder 50 if you like nobrain/noobz update

You use that to your advantage and go for the ranged dps and profit.
easy since there is an influx of new players in pvp atm.
It's so much easier for newer players to be able to decide which target the group is talking about.

Only new or bad players chase healers for the whole/ half of the match. They obviously don't know how much a healer can kite, heal and run.

Considering how impossible it could be to tell who was who, especially in 30/40 cap where all the gear looks the same, I welcome the classes of players over their heads.

And yeah, the actual effect of this change is that people will focus down a ranged DPS instead of always zerging the healer. I've seen that quite a lot in matches today and it makes the fight more interesting then playing chase the healer around the arena until one or both team's healers are dead.

It's sorta to do with this thread, but I really like the try on feature...I never realized how beautiful some of the animal sets were (I overlooked the Monk chest for example...which is amazing)

literally nothing has changed. people also target healer or range dps first pre 2.28

now, people target range dps and healers first post 2.28.
