Novus weapon upgrade system findings

Can you please change it so Atma's can drop utilizing Animus/Novus weapons?

It'd be nice to be able to get some headway on a subclass Novus given you still have to go through the whole entire process again, and given how terrible the Atma droprate is (and how boring much of the playerbase perceives it is to grind lowbie FATE's for days).

Can I just ask you WHY you would want this?

Think of it this way: If you had all your job's relic weapons above Atma stage, what other use would you have for attaining Atma Crystals? If they made it possible for Animus / Novus weapons to drop Atma Crystals, it'd become just a nuisance as you would have no more use for them.

They could always add another use for Atma's... make em currency for Alexanderite or something.

And I highly doubt anyone will ever have a full set of Atma's for every available Job, even with this change.

You're talking 8 sets of 12 unique Atma's (96), with another set for Ninja (108).

I think you underestimate how crazy obsessive some players can be... And compared to MMO grinds of the past? Atma and Animus both are lightweight.

I would wager that there's more than a few out there right now who have made it their mission to collect every Novus weapon, with plans to continue the Relic progression no matter how many grindy trials SE sets before them.
