Novus weapon upgrade system findings

Is the weapon damage going to be changed too? Or just altered stats?

not sure there is two new zodiac quests

*Celestial Radiance*

then

Star Light, Star Bright
Players must first complete the quest "Celestial Radiance."

so the first part could be stats second could damage/defense for shields.
