Well the hunts will also have some type of currency or drop pull as the hero gear supposedly moving over to it in some shape or form, so maybe it is specific marks above the level you would be rewarded with the hero's gear instead of being all clumped together.

Pretty ironic that some of the same people who like to tell people complaining about atma drop rate from fates to basically suck it up are now whining about low alex drop rates.

I have no problems with the low drop rates. Infact I'm using my extra time not farming alexandrite from FATES and acquiring more atmas instead, focusing on just getting 1-3 alex a day from quest/myth.

To the point, you are lucky to get a single alexandrite within 3-5 hours of FATE grinding. Honestly, I'm under the impression that Bray HM speed run myth grinding is sadly the best current means of obtaining Alexandrite; at least you have guaranteed tangible rewards to show for the time spent and you can spirit bond for materia while doing so. Not to mention all the money to be made from trading drops for seals and selling potash, ect.

Dunno how many people seen this.... "When we do finally raise the level cap in the future, Skill Speed will play an even bigger role there. In regards to the Novus Weapon we are looking to add a re-spec system in the future so that players have more options to re-customize their weapon."

We don't know how the Re-Spec system will work, But if it involves getting 75 Alex/Materia again might be worth doing SkSp now?

I think you underestimate how crazy obsessive some players can be... And compared to MMO grinds of the past? Atma and Animus both are lightweight.

I couldn't agree more. While I have no interest in doing more than one weapon, as I only enjoy playing SMN, these quests are lightweight. Sure they're a little annoying, but it a easy. Compare this to getting a relic or mythic back in the hayday of FFXI and you'll laugh at how easy they've made it. I hope it gets harder so that in the future the weapons are even more annoying to upgrade.

I would like it if they allowed us to get atma from fates as a low level class as long as we had the zenith in our armory chest/inventory. I can wish...

Its good advice that avoid doing Curtana Novus for now, do not exchange Curtana Novus if you are doing it or almost complete it OR you risk unable to get Alexandrite from FATE

Even though, you can still farm myth from Brayfox speed run and get map exchanged for Alexandrite still

Has this issue been addressed by the devs yet? I had no idea there was a bug in it until I came to these forums. Was wondering why nothing was dropping from all the fates I did as I am 8 away from completion.
