Novus weapon upgrade system findings

For sure want 44 Accuracy / 31 Determination on the Sphairai Novus. I'm angry over the Monk weapon already having 40 Accuracy, but you still need to put 44 Accuracy from Materia onto it as a replacement.

I would have thought that the next continuation of Zodiac would be 2.4. Any source that there are further upgrades planned before the next turns of Coil?

Before 2.2 they said that the Zodiac weapon will get upgrades in 2.2, 2.25 and 2.3... They delayed this one to 2.28, and they might delay the next one to 2.35 or something, but they did plan to have further progression on it before 2.4. If that still stands today, I have no idea, but I don't see why it wouldn't....

Nah, there's no where for it to upgrade until we have a higher tier of Coil weapons. Since Relics aren't meant to be better, nor on par with those.

75 alex needed can get 1 from daily, and 1 from Myth every other day ?
My math says, takes a little over a month? (which you get Myth to buy more Alex just by doing normal routine)

While that is a very realistic argument, the way i look at it is at that point (2.3x) they could update it to ilvl115. Yes that would be on par with coil 2 weapons, but at that point those weapons are nearly 6 months old and about to be replaced anyways.

6 months old? 2.3 will be 3 months.

Another update to the Relic, post Novus, won't be happening till we have BCoB3

Novus' next level will likely be 120 not 115. But that will be when the next coil is out and 120 won't be the highest.

Exactly, Final Turn weapons will always be a step ahead of the Relic, no matter what.
If it were not, that would be a slap in the face to all the well tuned groups that win those fights w/o Echo and stuff.

I don't know why people seem to overlook this, but I might as well say it.

If the meld on a materia fails, only the materia is lost, the Alexandrite itself is intact.
