Novus weapon upgrade system findings

So I apologize if this question has been asked and answered....I can't read through this many pages of a thread while working at the same time :\

I get how the secondary stat upgrades work with the sphere scrolls. I have been able to see enough about that to understand it. My question is this: I main BRD, and my secondary stats on Artemis Animus are Accuracy and Skill Speed. What if I want to change Skill Speed, but keep Accuracy? Do I have to use a scroll to rebuild Accuracy from scratch, do I get a scroll for Accuracy that starts at 40 (the # you attain for having Animus), or do I not even have to get a scroll for this stat and it will upgrade on its own after I am done upgrading the other stat of my choice?

This is more ore less what I was asking also. It's the same with Curtana.. I like Parry and ACC for Curtana, but it sounds like you have to build them up from scratch again for some silly reason?

Can you stack Alexandrites and the maps that grant them? If so it's better to just farm those for the time being and sb while everyone else give their money to the one who wiped the markets clean after the update.

Well, i've been at work all day. But after reading through this thread, it sounds like I'm shifting 100% of my attention to downing and farming T9. Cause eff this.

I am very curious how far you go with Tier 1 materia before you need Tier 2. And so on and so forth for each tier.

Have any of them dropped in success rate? And have you farmed any in fates?

Got 2 maps from daily, 2 from myth purchase. Yes the success rate is dropping if I recall last one was like 80% success rate.
